Team members can be added in two ways: by adding an existing member of your organization, or by sending an email invitation to someone new. Both options are available from the same screen.
Steps
- Go to the organization and team you want to add a member to.
- On the team's overview page, find the Team Membership panel and click View All Members (or, from the Team Statistics panel, click Manage under Team Members).
- On the Team Members page, click the Add Member button in the top right.
In the Add Team Member window that opens, you have two options: Option A: Add someone already in your organization
- Start typing the person's name or email address in the "Search organization members or invite by email" box.
- Select their name from the matching results.
Option B: Invite someone new by email
- Click Or send an email invitation.
- Enter the person's email address.
- Optionally, enter their first name and last name. (If their email matches one of your organization's verified domains, adding a name lets them be added to teams and meetings right away, even before they finish setting up their account.)
- If you change your mind, click Cancel invitation to go back to searching for an existing member instead.
- Choose the person's Role from the dropdown. Available roles are:
- Officer (voting) — Voting governance role; manages meetings, agenda, and minutes.
- Member (voting) — Voting body member; moves and votes on motions.
- Adviser (non-voting) — Non-voting advisory role (for example, counsel or parliamentarian staff).
- Observer (non-voting) — Non-voting attendee with read-only access.
- Meeting Administrator (non-voting) — Administers meeting data on behalf of participants.
- Optionally, choose a Title from the dropdown (for example, Chair, Secretary). This title appears on meeting minutes and PDFs.
- Click Add member to finish.
The new member will now appear in the team's member list. If they were invited by email and don't already have an Agendized account, they'll receive an email invitation to set one up.
Editing or Removing a Member
From the same Team Members page, each row has:
- An Edit link to change that member's Role or Title.
- A Remove link to remove them from the team.
