You can update a meeting's details — title, description, schedule, location, officers, and attachments — at any time from the meeting page or from the team's meeting list.
Option A: Edit from the meeting's detail page
- Navigate to the team the meeting belongs to (for example, Formation Tech > Board Meeting).
- Click on the meeting you want to edit (for example, from the Next Meeting or Recent Meetings section, or by clicking View All Meetings).
- On the meeting's detail page, click the Actions dropdown (near the top, next to Export PDF).
- Select Edit meeting.
Option B: Edit directly from the meetings list
- Navigate to the team's meeting list (click View All Meetings from the team page).
- Find the meeting in the list.
- Click Edit in that meeting's row.
Making your changes
Both options open the same Edit Meeting window, where you can update:
- Title — the meeting's name.
- Description — free-text notes about the meeting, with basic formatting (bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, lists, links).
- Meeting type — for example, Regular Meeting.
- Scheduled Start Time and Scheduled End Time.
- Location and/or Virtual Meeting Link.
- Officer Designations — optionally assign a specific Presiding Officer and/or Recording Officer for the meeting. If left unset, any officer on the team may run or take minutes for the meeting.
- Public Meeting checkbox — check this if the meeting should be open to the public.
- PDF Export Options — settings for how the meeting exports as a PDF.
- Documents — upload additional files (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint up to 50MB; images up to 10MB) by clicking Upload files or dragging files into the box.
- Meeting Recording — attach a recording to the meeting, if applicable.
Once you've made your changes, click Update Meeting to save them, or Cancel (or the X in the top corner) to discard your changes and close the window without saving.
Note
Individual agenda items within a meeting have their own Edit item, Duplicate item, and Delete item options — these are separate from editing the meeting's overall details, and are accessed by opening the meeting and using the menu on the specific agenda item you want to change.
